The 52nd Genoa International Boat Show, organised by Fiera di Genova and UCINA Confindustria Nautica (the Italian Marine Industry Association), was officially presented today in Milan. The Boat Show will be held at Genoa Fair and Exhibition Centre (Fiera di Genova) from 6th to 14th October 2012.
This year’s edition of the Boat Show will mark the beginning of a new path ahead, aiming in particular to ensure not only the excellence of the incredibly wide range of products on display, but also that taking part in the Show is a truly unique experience for everyone, combining business, love for the sea, interactive meetings and events.
Genoa International Boat Show is Italy’ leading event devoted to pleasure boating and sea culture. Held for the first time in 1962 in Genoa to promote and fully exploit the city’s economic, historical and cultural strengths, the Show is organised by Fiera di Genova in partnership with UCINA, the Italian marine industry association. The Boat Show has constantly developed over the years, becoming one of the most important events at an international level thanks to the increasing prestige and strength of the Italian boating industry and to significant investments in facilities and infrastructures which have turned Genoa fair & exhibition centre into a unique location. The Boat Show can indeed now boast a complete product range, from smaller boats to superyachts, from electronic equipment to accessories, from engines to apparel, all the way to services; conferences, events and meetings are also regularly held during the Boat Show, which has thus become a true reference event for the marine industry as a whole.
